Preparation for Deployment
After packing up most of Noah's things as well as mine I almost wanted to breakdown and cry. We will be moving out of the apartment in like 11-12ish days and it definitely makes me sad. This was our first place as husband and wife and then as a family of 3. Packing up things made this deployment even more real that I would like it to be. It's closer than I want it to be and the days just keep flying by and becoming one day closer to him leaving us. I'm not sure how I am gonna make it on that day I have to say goodbye. I guess like every other time and every other wife, fiance, and girlfriend there I will try to stay strong for my husband and make sure he knows that when he gets back both his son and I will be waiting for him. Until that day we will cherish every moment we have together and make the best of the last few weeks together. Until tomorrow, ♥

A brand new year
As I sit here on January 1, 2011 and look back at my life in 2010 I have so much to be thankful for. My life has changed so much on one year and for the better.
1. I went into 2010 with the man of my dreams and childhood boyfriend as my husband.
2. We ventured of to Maryland to begin our life together as husband and wife stationed here at Andrews AFB.
3. We found out in January that we were going to be parents and later on in the year found out he was gonna be a little boy!
4. My little boy Noah came into this world on 09/25/2010 at 0600 weighing in at 6lbs 13.9oz and 20in long. This was one of the best days of my life. I can't begin to describe what it felt like to finally see and hold him for the first time.
5. I found out my husband was deploying for the 2nd time. I am not too thrilled about this, but it all comes with being a military wife. We will embrace this deployment, and in the end it will only make our relationship stronger, bring us closer together, and make each of us stronger in ways that only military families can relate.
6. We celebrated our one year anniversary as husband and wife. A big accomplishment for us as husband and wife. I can't wait to enjoy and celebrate many many more with him.
I am so thankful and hope that 2011 is just as great as 2010 was. Until later, ♥.
